Junior M&E Project Engineer/Manager

A leading M & E Contractor are currently recruiting for a Junior M&E Project Engineer/ Manager.

They have diverse experience and a track record of delivering demanding mechanical and electrical projects within various sectors including commercial developments, luxury high specification residential properties, hi-tech laboratories, retail and leisure developments, educational establishments and health care.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with overall contractual and financial responsibility for allocated projects from contract award to end of defects liability period, thereby ensuring obligations are met and a high profile is given to maximising company profitability.

In this role you will be responsible to assist the overall Project Manager produce a materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements.

Throughout the installation it’s essential you supervise labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of M&E systems and their installation methods.
• Time served apprentice or relevant M&E qualifications.
• Good people management and motivational skills.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
• The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.

Salary and Benefits will depend on experience, but typically includes:

• £25,000 - £45,000 + other benefits
