Electrical Projects Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading M&E Contractor that are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Projects Engineer.

As the Electrical Projects Engineer you will work within an established team on predominately commercial and high end residential projects around theLondonarea.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with overall contractual and financial responsibility for allocated projects from contract award to end of defects liability period, thereby ensuring obligations are met and a high profile is given to maximising company profitability.

As the Electrical Projects Engineer you will be responsible to assist the Projects Manager to produce a materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements.

Throughout the installation it’s essential you supervise labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Electrical systems and their installation methods.

Time served apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications (HNC desirable but not essential)

Good people management and motivational skills.

The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.

The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.

Salary and Benefits will depend on experience, but typically includes:

£45,000 - £55,000 + package & travel allowance
