Fire Alarm Engineer

A specialist Fire Alarm company are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer to cover their commercial contracts across London & The South East. They have an established client base with many blue chip companies, county council and health authorities.

They are able to design, supply and install commission and carry out planned maintenance to most systems and makes of equipment with their own in house quality control and achieved full ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in 2010. In addition they achieved accreditation to BAFE SP203. They are members of the FIA and FPA and are an accredited NICEIC company.

To be successful you will need working experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems and a good understanding of the BS5839 regulations are essential.

Successful candidate will have a varied role, incorporating aspects of service, faults, repair, commissioning, maintenance and occasional installation duties.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Understanding of the BS5839.
• Experience of working in the commercial environment, dealing with clients and public face to face.
• Experience of small works including replacing lights and fittings.
• Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
• Full Driving Licence is essential.

Salary and benefits will depend on experience, but typically includes:
