Our client is a manufacturer, importer and exporter of casual knitted and woven fashion separates for the volume of 16-30 age female fashion sector, supplying high street multiples.

As part of their rapid expansion, they are seeking to fill the vacancy of Garment Technologist.

The ideal candidate for Garment Technologist should have:

• A minimum of five years experience working in fast moving pressurized enviroment with a similar category fashion importer
• Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction & production procedures for knitted & woven casual ladies garments
• Sealing to High Street standards
• Critical path management
• Excellent communication skills to liase with both customers and overseas factories
• Ability to produce detailed specification sheets
• Translate amendments accurately
• Maintain high standards & concise records
• PC knowledge, including Adobe, Excel; and be able to work on various CAD packages
• Suitable applicant may be expected to travel throughout UK , Europe & Far East

Salary is negotiable subject to experience.
