Astute Ltd, specialists in IT sector are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our organisation in Bournemouth, Dorset. Working 8.30-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
As our Business Development Manager you will be tasked to grow a great business proposition and add value to an extensive array of services offered by Astute.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities of our Business Development Manager include:
-Revenue & MBO based
- Achieve revenue targets on month by month basis
- Find business leads by targeting small to medium businesses (by telephone and F2F)
- Build and maintain new business relationships with prospect clients
- Support Commercial Owner in managing client expectations
- Prepare reports
- React to client demands
- Prepare presentations and meeting collateral
- Prepare and dispatch quotations, chase purchase orders and invoice payment
- Attend and chair, if appropriate, conference calls with clients
- Attend weekly / monthly sales meetings
- Ensure smooth client experience
To become our Business Development Manager you must have the following skills and experience:
- Be a natural and ambitious communicator
- Have experience of building and maintaining business relationships.
- Previous sales experience (closing orders over the telephone and use of Webex B2B or B2C) - B2B environment preferred but not essential
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
- Experience in using various IT systems
- Presentable
- Professional telephone manner
- Good at building and maintaining relationships
- Able to multi task and work under pressure to get the relevant information back to the customer quickly in order to accelerate the sales cycle
- Experience of a target driven environment
- Motivated to build a career in Sales in the IT market
- Motivated by achievement and financial rewards
In return for your hard work and commitment as our Business Development Manager you will receive a basic salary of £20,000 plus OTE of £36,000 (negotiable, dependant on experience).
