Merchandising Analyst
Blueskies Marketing have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Merchandising Analyst to join one of the UKs leading retailers with both a strong online and high street presence they work with some of the worlds leading fashion brands including: Adidas, Nike and Converse and are currently experiencing rapid international expansion. You will be based at their North West head office and join their diverse multichannel marketing department.
Key responsibilities for the Merchandising Analyst
Monitoring store category sales
Supervising physical inventory
Identifying trends
Monitoring the timing and scope of seasonal changes
Processing data from the Data Warehouse to produce reporting for the Merchandising team and other departments in the company.
Providing product information and analysis for Merchandisers to assist in the production of range plans and forecasts.
Research and collate ad hoc reporting for Merchandising, the Board, and Senior Management.
Working directly with suppliers, merchandising analysts develop supply strategies that will minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turns
Skills and experience required for the Merchandising Analyst
A blend of merchandising and data analysis experience are desirable for a merchandising analyst.
Significant analytical experience and computer proficiency with programs like MS Excel and/or access are essential.
An understanding of SQL/Retail Analytics/OBIEE would be Preferable.
