Person Specification - SEN Teacher / Art Teacher
This position would suit an inventive SEN Teacher / Art Teacher who has some experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs and a history of 'Good' or better classroom practice. We want to see Secondary SEN Teachers with the drive to work well both individually and as team and teach with excellent classroom practice. It is essential for you to be a specialist Art Teacher and the skills and experience to ensure no child is left behind and a resilient, authoritative character.
About the Role - Secondary SEN Teacher / Art Teacher
In this exciting SEN Art Teacher position you will be working in the industrious Design Technology faculty, surrounded by excellent colleagues and you will be joining a team who operate under an 'every child matters' ethos. At this school you will be expanding your horizons with the school's CPD programme which aims to forward both professional and personal ambitions. An outstanding' teacher will be on hand, especially at the beginning of your tenure, to help you adjust to life at the school and integrate with the pace at the school. The students you will be working will mostly have ASD learning needs and will require extra support and a calm classroom manner in order to get them to both enjoy and learn from your creative, therapeutic Art lessons.
