The Housekeeping Department is looking for a Linen Supervisor to join its management team.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the responsibilities and essential job duties include but are not limited to the following:

??To lead, guide & train team to provide consistently outstanding service

??To be responsible for the day-to-day handling of all soiled and clean linen

??Deliver clean linen to all floors and properly stack the linen cupboard

??To restock cupboards each day with linen, toiletries

??To check all laundry in and out, ensuring all documentation is checked and completed as necessary

??Process guest and staff laundry and dry cleaning and make sure that charges are raised and processed accordingly

??To report all linen discrepancies to Executive Housekeeper

??To carry out carpet and upholstery cleaning, as and when required

??To keep storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up

??Communicate effectively and follow up instructions

??To attend any meetings requested or training courses where necessary

??To handle guest queries in accordance with company standards

??To train new employees to the required standard

??Demonstrate good time keeping and attendance

The incumbent should have ideally have had previous experience in managing the linen room preferably in the hospitality sector.
