SAN Consultants - Bristol

Due to massive growth my client is currently multiple experienced SAN Consultant, working in a dynamic and highly demanding environment. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a background of implementing/supporting a broad range of network and security devices.

You will be experienced, reliable and resourceful Storage Consultant required with necessary skills and ability to work both as part of a team and independently as appropriate. P&C: SAN Successful candidates will embrace working in a challenging environment that offers diversity across the platforms supported.

This role encompasses Presales, Transition, Transformation and Change activities. You will undertake all aspects of delivering business critical services to a wide range of clients. Also, involvement in constant transition projects, you will be responsible for implementation of new storage into steady-state. Ample opportunities exist to generalise or specialise with different storage topologies, software products and toolsets. Background would be - Storage administration - maintenance, configuration, upgrade, patching, backup, performance, capacity, monitoring, reporting

Experience & Qualifications

Working knowledge of major components and concepts of Data Storage. Knowledge of one or more of the following major backup products - Legato, Veritas Netbackup, TSM, Omniback is required. Experience of working with High end/Mid Range storage arrays from one or more leading manufacturers ie HP, Hitachi, NetApp, IBM, LSI, EMC, Compellent. Familiarity with FC switch technology.
