Operation: Restaurant

Package: up to 19k

Hours: 45 per week

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an advanced knowledge of culinary skills and past experience working within a professional kitchen. You will have excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and have the ability to teach and inspire.

You must also be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for food and fresh ingredients.

There is a great future for the right candidate, and a real chance to be part of something special. Experience in a similar role is essential and you must be able to demonstrate this from the onset.

Duties:

* Ensure that his/her section is up to date with all information within the business

* Reports to Head chef, sous chef

* The completion of all food ordering relevant to business levels.

* To ensure volume of food cooked in accordance with business levels and ensuring minimum wastage at all times.

* To ensure that all food preparation and production is to the required standard.

* To ensure that any commis / demi chefs assigned to them are trained and duties clearly explained with supporting documentation.

* To complete all necessary documentation:

* * Fridge temperatures. * * Ordering/Transfer Sheets. * * Wastage sheets.

* All food correctly labelled and dated and duly stock rotated

* To ensure that surrounding kitchen areas and fridges are at all times clean and sanitised.
