BI Business Analyst is required by our client to work closely with IT and Business teams to understand and document business and data requirements and to ensure all BI solutions are designed, developed and delivered to provide the right information to the right people at the right time.

Responsibilities:
-Implement solutions to improve efficiency and implement best practice
-Use your understanding of analysis data, systems and processes to help plan and prioritise the development of BI solutions
-Collaborative involvement in the design and development of data models, solutions and reports
-Facilitate workshops, deliver training and presentations and produce high level and detailed requirement documents
-Cover all stages of the solution life cycle

Essential Skills:
-Demonstrable experience in BI Datamodelling and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS)
-Demonstrable experience in IBM Framework Manager and Cognos 10 report building techniques
-Demonstrable understanding of the management of business processes and requirements and translating them into technical requirements
-Ability to build close working relationships with internal and external parties
-An understanding of complex requirements and communicating them simply
-Capturing and documenting underlying data sources, definitions and transformations required to delivery reporting requirements
-Capturing and documenting non-functional requirements to support delivery of the reporting solution
-Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
