Background

PwC's Risk Assurance (RA) One Security team is growing quickly as our clients turn to us for assistance with complex IT risks. Our clients include leading global and UK based organisations and they rely upon us to help them design and advise on information security processes and controls to protect their organisations.

Daily life as a Cyber Security Professional:

  • Working on delivering client projects alongside senior and junior individuals in the team.
  • Help recruit, retain and develop the Information Security team by bringing superior leadership skills.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and clients are satisfied with the work.
  • Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Information Security services.
  • Work either as senior subject matter experts in their field and/or manage teams in delivering client excellence.
  • Contribute to the Intellectual Property of the firm by driving the development of toolkits, methodologies and accelerators.

Experience & knowledge you will need:

  • Professional Information Security certification such as CISSP,CISA or CISM.
  • Proven track record of delivery of large security improvement programmes.
  • Experience in industry sectors: Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications and Utilities.
  • Ability to gain a UK Government Security Clearance
  • Strategic IT planning/Information Security Strategy;
  • Risk and Regulatory frameworks (ITIL, CobIT, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS etc);
  • Risk Based Information Assurance, IT Internal Audit scoping and planning for security configuration and controls assessments over OS/Database/Networks/Infrastructure, processes and organisations.
  • Risk Assessment Analysis.
  • Business Impact Analysis.
  • Threat and Vulnerability Analysis.
  • Security Organisational Design.

We will be particularly interested in speaking to candidates with specific technical delivery skills in one or more of the following Technical areas:

  • Cryptography
  • Scada industrial controls
  • Mobile payments
  • SOC/SIEMS
  • DLP
  • Privacy & data protection implementation
