Market Specialist - Risk Managemet, Corporate Treasury (EMEA) Job

Description: Job Requisition Number: 45296 The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Financial Services Professional to join our expanding team of Corporate Treasury market specialists. The role will entail close interaction with Bloomberg clients and prospects, the Bloomberg sales-force and Business Development, and internal and external software developers. Whilst the role will require working as an integral part of a team, it will also involve a high level of autonomy. The role will necessitate a significant amount of domestic and international travel. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and confident self-starter, who is comfortable in a demanding, fast moving and client-driven environment. Responsibilities will include: - Protecting the existing terminal base by influencing customer usage patterns, increasing product adoption, and helping the sales-force to generate and close new sales opportunities. - Building and maintaining key relationships with decision-makers and senior financial professionals. - Shaping future product development by providing business managers with actionable feedback on the latest trends, regulations and market practices. - Marketing the product by speaking at external events and industry conferences; organizing and delivering seminars, webinars and audio-visual presentations; writing content for Bloomberg on-line and printed publications. - Furthering the knowledge of our sales-force by designing and delivering customized training. - Formulating responses to queries from prospects, customers, salespeople and our Help Desk. Qualifications: - Expert knowledge of corporate treasury risk management. - Deep technical knowledge of either interest rate or FX derivatives (ideally both). - Detailed knowledge of the corporate treasury workflow. - An understanding of hedge accounting & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - A good knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting corporate treasuries in EMEA, e.g. EMIR reporting. - Language skills is a plus especially German, French or Italian. - Desire to be in a client facing role and drive usage of high-end Bloomberg solutions for corporate treasuries.
