Description: Job Requisition Number: 43712 The Role The Global Customer Support Department provides 24/7 telephone support to our clients. The aim of the department is to provide a superior client experience as a front line resource to our business. Our model follows the sun so that we always have 2 global customer support centers open at all times providing seamless service. We also provide multi-lingual support to our clients. This department is seeking a highly motivated, energetic team player with a solid work ethic to intern in this challenging, customer focused team. As an intern you will be an integral part of a team that interacts with clients and internal departments on a daily basis. In this support role, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our products and services, our clients, as well as insight into the global financial markets. Our fast-paced environment commands excellent multi tasking and problem solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills are key to continued success in this role. Qualifications: - Must be in final year of University - Strong telephone etiquette and a professional demeanor - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Multi-tasking skills and ability to remain effective, calm and patient under pressure - Strong problem solving and prioritization skills - Ability to be a team player as well as work well independently - Fluency in English and one European Lanugage or Japanese is essential - Availability to work for 10 weeks beginning in June 2015 The Company Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, gives influential decision makers a critical edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas.
