Product Technologist

Outline of role

Key duties and responsibilities whilst within this role will be developing Own Brand product ranges, delivering the technical elements of the New Product Development process and the on-going technical product compliance and collaborating with suppliers to enhance and increase product performance, quality systems and NPD; ensuring they adhere to quality and legal requirements.

You will also deliver the technical aspects of all critical paths to budget/cost and within set timescales, be an expert with regards to technical information, standards and legal requirements within selected categories and continually keep up to date with standards, legal requirements and technical innovation.

Person specification

We are seeking a candidate who has experience of working within cosmetics, toiletries or healthcare formulations, is educated to degree level or equivalent ideally within cosmetic science, biology or chemistry and has experience as a Product Technologist or has worked in a laboratory developing products.
