English Teacher required

PK education is currently recruiting for an English Teacher. This position is a full time post and will start in either ASAP or in September, the post will continue up until the end of the term.

This English Post is an excellent opportunity to work within a good secondary school with outstanding features in the Derby/Derbyshire area. The school itself is in an ideal location for local travel from Derby City Centre, Belper, Ripley, Heanor, Hucknall and Nottinghamshire commute via Car.

You would be teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 and possibly 5 English, you will be required to carry out all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for. You will also be expected to attend school meetings and parent's evenings. This position will be paid to scale to reflect the commitment and work of the individual.

The successful applicant must hold QTS or QTLS, have recent experience teaching English and will be subject to past school references and a current DBS check. New entrants to the profession are welcome to apply and would be suitable.
