3D Graphics - Senior Software Engineer 3D reconstruction - London
We are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for our client, one of the world's leading organisations in their field, to join their team developing software for their devices.
Responsibilities would include: working at a high level introducing new and innovative technology to their products. To have technical responsibility for one or more significant sections with minimal supervision, and to engage directly with customers and 3rd party suppliers. You will also be responsible for supporting the Team Manager in identifying training, development needs and evolving development of the methods and processes. All work is to be of a professional standard, paying due regard to safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness, time scales and the needs of the Company.
Necessary Skills and attributes
1)Expert skills in computer vision and experience with 3D reconstruction or visual recognition.
2)Good Knowledge of computer graphics and animation in 3D
3)Expertise in 3D math, linear algebra and probability theory
4)Expertise in Mesh, rendering, and texture mapping.
5)Expertise in Performance optimization and developing power efficient small memory software
6)Testing and debugging experience
Additional knowledge in these areas would be beneficial:
1)Use of OpenCV
2)Character animation
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of self-motivation, the ability to work alone, managing own work and setting sensible priorities according to requirements, and A good level of inter-personal and communication skills to be able to communicate with a wide range of people up to the Managing director and VP level.
