Job Title: IT Support Executive
Location: Cumbernauld, Glasgow, G68 9HE
Salary: Depending on experience 

Reporting into the Marketing Director the successful candidate will providing daily IT support in a varied and challenging environment. 

Essential skills;
• Setting up, configuring and maintaining IT equipment – HP servers, desktops, laptops, printers, phones, etc.
• Support for Microsoft applications, exchange 2013, office, etc.
• Supporting a Windows active directory domain environment
• Understanding of Ethernet switching, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN
• Providing remote and face-to-face IT support
• Administering company wide backups and disaster recovery environment.
• Documenting all areas of IT including procedures and processes
• Must be willing to travel.
• Performs other related IT duties as required.

Desirable skills
• Cisco Catalyst and ASA experience.
• Microsoft Hyper-V.
• VoIP, SIP Protocol.
• Application and device monitoring
• CentOS, Linux.
 
Educated to a minimum level of HNC or have equivalent practical experience within a fast past environment you will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to work with excellent communication skills.  

Technical experience of Server environments: Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, CentOS
Desktop environments:   Windows 2000, XP, 7 

Exposure to SharePoint design, administration and support, ERP systems, planning, writing and delivering management information systems would be advantageous.

You must also be comfortable working in a team environment as well as having the necessary discipline to work alone when required. The ability to work to deadlines to achieve defined targets as well as good troubleshooting skills is essential. This will suit candidates who have had experience within an IT role and are now looking for a new challenge.
