Our client is a charitable trust set up by a consortium of Lancashire businesses and is now one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with nearly 50 years' experience of delivering high quality work-based learning and training programmes to industry and individuals. They have grown to more than 250 staff and 11 centres across the North West and other areas of the UK, working with national employers across a wide range of sectors, whilst maintaining local support.

Two important vacancies have arisen within the Dental department for two Assessor/Tutors. These will both be 12 months fixed term contract to cover for maternity leave. One vacancy will be based in Blackburn and the second vacancy will be based in Hull, West Yorkshire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting young people onto the Apprenticeship programme. Duties will include training, assessing and carrying out regular reviews to enable learners to complete their Dental Nursing Level 3 Diploma. Other duties will also include marketing of the above Programme and working closely with key account holders.

You will require good communication, organisational and administrative skills and a Dental Nursing qualification recognised by the GDC (General Dental Council). The candidate will need to have strong experience in the aforementioned duties and will possess post graduate qualifications and preferably will possess post graduate qualifications.

You may also possess the assessor's award and a teaching qualification, although these are not essential they are desirable. Full training is available for this role. The post will involve a degree of travel and therefore a full driver's licence is essential.
