Randstad are recruiting for experienced Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 SEN teachers for permanent positions within a special school in Birmingham.
The Job:
- Teaching secondary age pupils in a special school.
- English and Maths teachers would be preferred, but will consider other subjects too.
- Full time, permanent role.
- Requires a patient, understanding approach.
- Follows the National Curriculum with modifications in order to best support the childrens' learning.
- Teaching children with ASD.
The School:
- Latest OFSTED report was 'Outstanding'.
- Classes of 10 pupils maximum.
- An all ages special school based in Birmingham. (3yrs-18yrs).
- Specialises in supporting children with ASD.
The Child:
- Student needs may include severe communication disorders and difficulties in building relationships.
- Challenging behaviours can occur as a result of their Special Needs.
- Diagnosed within the autistic spectrum.
- Having communication and social skill disorders.
- Children are aged between 3 years old and 18 years old.
- Key Stages 1-4.
