We are looking to employ Field Sales Executives to enhance our growing Field Sales Team in a variety of locations across the UK. We are looking to recruit "sales hungry", ambitious and energetic FSEs to acquire new business in the SME market and drive the company forward whilst earning market leading commissions.

Active Payments are a well-established premium provider of Merchant Services to small and medium businesses in the UK. We work with two of the leading Acquiring Banks in Europe, and provide only the latest technology to our customers.

The role:

The FSE role is primarily a face to face cold calling in the business to business SME market. Visiting prospect customers at their premises and demonstrating the features and benefits of our market leading proposition. FSEs will be required to manage their own leads, sales pipeline. A number of pre-booked appointments will also be made available for conversion every week.

You will be targeted on both sales volume and revenue generation with an uncapped commission structure rewarding achievement. Targets are realistic and achievable, meaning capable sales professionals can comfortably over-achieve and be further rewarded.

Working in a highly targeted sales environment, successful candidates should:

  • Have the ability to deliver on individual territory sales targets
  • Be accurate and timely when reporting sales figures
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have strong commercial awareness and sales experience
  • Be confident and have a determined approach in discussing products and services with business owners
  • Have a high degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Have business to business, face to face cold calling experience
  • Be IT competent

To succeed in this role as a Field Sales Executive:

Previous Merchant Services experience is beneficial but not essential as the company will provide a full business induction, product training and sales training, along with excellent office and field based support with continued on the job training.

Successful candidates will be expected to generate and manage their own pipeline. Daily and weekly KPIs will be monitored and feedback provided.
