Are you good over the telephone, are you happy to be the first point of contact for an organisation
If so this may be a great role for you. The role is to provide quotes to customers over the phones for their insurance policys and turn leads into sales as well as sell add on products. As well as this you will need to ensure you are offering excellent customer service.

As a sales advisor your day to day activities will be carried out working within a team of 6 -8 people. You will be targeted to; Achieve a specific number of sales for a variety of products (these include; insurance policies, legal assistance policies and vehicle breakdown cover) as well as to convert a certain percentage of the calls you take into new business cases

The Person
To become a successful Sales Advisor you need to be;
Enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate this using the telephone
Focused to ensure you record accurate details in order to sell a customer the right products
Be able to overcome any selling objections raised by a customer
Target driven and used to motivating yourself to achieve targets as well as being able to work alongside others as part of a team

It is required that you have previous experience of working in a sales role using the telephone. However, it is not essential and should have done so in an insurance environment, it is important however you be able to demonstrate that you have all the attributes of a sales professional we can then support and develop you to carry out this exciting and rewarding role.

The key skills/experience we are looking for include;
Previous experience working in a selling environment
The ability to gather data and present a sales pitch that appeals to the individual
An understanding of how to overcome selling objections in ways that generate sales
The confidence to ask for someones business and close a sale
The ability to follow up on leads
