Business Development Analyst

FINTEC recruit are looking for a Business Development Analyst for our client who is a fast growing laser and photonics company based in Glasgow. This is a permanent role with a salary range £23,000 - £27,000 with additional benefits. Some travel may be involved with this role.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage initial customer enquiries via email and telephone
• Validate customers' needs and answer customer questions in conjunction with sales and technical teams
• Develop commercial tools and systems to update and manage new opportunities
• Provide sales analysis and sales reports ensuring sales goals and targets are achieved
• Work with the marketing team to plan and coordinate campaigns
• Possibly represent the company at Trade shows and events

The successful candidate for the Business Development Analyst position will have

• A background in Physics (preferably Lasers)
• A degree or postgrad in Business Studies (scientific, technical or engineering bias)
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
• The confidence to work with field experts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
