Due to the increase in workload, Aggregate Industries are looking to start a surfacing gang in Greater Manchester.

Opportunities have become available for Asphalt Paving Operatives who are fully experienced in all aspects of the laying of bituminous materials. With an understanding and basic knowledge of working within a construction environment, as an Asphalt Paving Operative, you will have previous experience with both hand and machine lay work. With the ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative, you will be capable of working to tight deadlines and tolerances, whilst producing quality work.  Reporting to the Foreman and Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out to high quality standards and will control and report on all aspects of health and safety.

To apply for the Asphalt Paving Operative role, you will also be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a flexible approach to working hours and have previous experience in the road surfacing industry. You will ideally hold a CSCS Health and Safety card and a CPCS card, or similar. You must also possess a valid UK Driving Licence.
