Calibration Engineer

  Calibration Engineer   Calibration UK Ltd is a dimensional UKAS. Laboratory with a large and varied customer base, calibrations are carried out mainly at the laboratory in Hindley with some calibrations being performed at customers sites.   The Ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of UKAS and be competent in the measurement techniques of micrometers, Verniers, screw gauges plugs rings and calipers, you would be expected to work to approved procedures.   Applications would be considered from skilled inspectors / machinists who wish to change career and have an interest in quality and have the necessary aptitude.   Though formal qualifications are not necessary a good level of maths is required with the ability to calculate angles using trigonometry.
