The Coal Authority is working to resolve the impacts of current and past mining activities in Britain. Our team provides expert advice and creative solutions to manage public safety and environmental issues associated with coal and metal mining.
It’s an exciting time to join us. Our 5 year plan outlines our ambition to provide advice and services to governments and public bodies in the UK and overseas – sharing our expertise in resolving the impacts of mining. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our in-house ICT team, as a Web Developer, to help the Authority achieve its ambitious plans. We are looking for an experienced web specialist to develop and maintain web applications and digital services, identifying new opportunities and leading projects for new web solutions for both internal and external use.
As part of the ICT team you will be integral to the development of new business applications and services. You will be experienced in working closely with business users at all levels and possess strong analytical and communication skills. In this role you will benefit from our significant and on-going investment programme, which ensures the use of the latest tools and technology.
