Bolton Lads & Girls Club is a proud deliverer of the Office for Civil Society’s National Citizen Service programme for young people as part of a consortia with The Challenge Network and Salford Foundation. We have exciting opportunities for ambitious and talented individuals to form part of our NCS team tasked with recruiting young people for four full model and seven compressed model programmes throughout 2015 - 2018, in line with set targets ensuring thousands of young people from Bolton’s diverse communities to contribute towards a more cohesive society.

As the recognised Centre for Excellence in its field with a vision to provide the best opportunities for the most vulnerable children and young people in Bolton, Bolton Lads & Girls Club is looking to employ strong marketing individuals with high levels of communication skills, who will champion and drive the recruitment of young people onto the NCS programme. Engaging with schools, colleges and other youth settings, the successful applicants will build a network of contacts and secure agreed numbers of young people from expression of interest stage through to full sign up.

This role is a 100% year round target driven recruitment position and a key part of the roles will be to engage directly with young people during the recruitment phase of the programme to build positive relationships to take young people from expression of interest in the programme through to sign up as part of a year round driven recruitment campaign and strategy. There will also be a requirement to provide some office and administrative support for the NCS programme, including adhering to processes and the production of MI and other information as requested and ensure that all data is recorded accurately, timely and confidentially, and that all use of data is within data protection legislation.

The salary package reflects the importance of this role and a pension scheme will be available after six months service. However we believe that your biggest reward will be the difference you make to the lives of young people.
