Can you manage The Core?

CENTRE MANAGER:THE CORE,
SCIENCE CENTRAL.
Location: Science Central, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Monday - Friday: full time. Permanent. Salary: £32,000 - £35,000.

The Core, opened in November 2014, is a workspace for Future City science and technology businesses. We are seeking someone who will take ownership of all aspects of the running of the operation from mid-July 2015.

You will have previous buildings or facilities management experience or have equivalent skills which can be adapted to operating a highly customer focused business. You will need practical financial management skills, good attention to detail and have a positive and can-do attitude as well as an understanding of the needs of high growth sectors. You will be able to facilitate a wide-ranging array of events that profile work related to future cities and smart technology.
You will also have the ability to lead and inspire a small team.
