These range from variable interest rate accounts, fixed rate accounts and tax-free accounts (including Cash ISA’s and Bonds). The Bank is committed to providing a high standard of service to all of its customers.
We are currently looking for a motivated individual with previous financial operations/administration experience to join our Deposits team, in delivering a reliable and efficient service to our customers. This is a varied role, providing operational support within a busy department, responsible for processing and administration of customer accounts.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Processing a variety of banking instructions (e.g. transfer of funds, withdrawals, closure of accounts, etc.).
- Undertaking procedural checks of instructions, ensuring compliance with company procedures and product terms and conditions.
- Liaising with customers, third parties and other financial institutions regarding general banking enquiries, as applicable.
To be successful in this role, you will be computer literate and very organised. You will have the ability to multi-task and to work under pressure at times. A high level of attention to detail is important, even during repetitive tasks. You will also be required to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
Previous banking experience is desirable. A minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (including English and Maths), is essential.
