7.5t Driver

7.5t Driver, £­­­­­17,000 per annum + annual bonus OTE of £1,200

Bunzl is looking for a 7.5t Driver who has previous driving and tachograph experience and holds the relevant driving license to join their team based in Newbury.

With exciting times ahead in our company we are looking to expand the team and are in need of a 7.5t Driver.

As our 7.5t Driver you will carry out deliveries on one of our fleet of 7.5t or less vehicles in the region. All scheduled deliveries are to be completed on time, in full on a daily basis, utilising the relevant route planning tools.

Responsibilities of a 7.5t Driver include:

- Placing goods into storage, picking stock and consolidating orders whilst ensuring a professional and efficient delivery service in accordance with relevant legislation, company EHS and quality policies
- Assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicles, ensuring that the payload is within limits for the vehicle, the permissible axle weights are not exceeded and that goods are safely loaded for transportation and delivery
- Ensure that the company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8:00am until 5:30pm. We do ask that the successful candidate is flexible to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of the role as and when required.

To become our 7.5t Driver you must have the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Be customer focused and show a genuine interest in ensuring the needs of the customer are met
- It is essential that you have previous driving and tachograph experience and hold the relevant driving licence
- Hold an FLT licence and be CPC qualified
- A strong work ethic
- Have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others and be willing to share information and resources with others
- Understand the importance of complying with health and safety procedures and reporting risks

In return for your passion drive and commitment you will receive a salary of £17,000 per annum plus annual bonus OTE of £1,200. You will also receive benefits including Sharesave scheme, Bunzl benefits, Pension and Discounted Healthcare.
