Job Elements: -

• The helpdesk support technician will be responsible for 2nd tier fault rectification, call centre closure of faults, remote technical diagnosis and communication between 1st tier helpdesk and 3rd tier field engineers.
• You will also provide technical support to our business-to-business customers and end users, ordering of parts, planning and co-ordinating activities in relation to customer’s faulty equipment.
• Communicating updates to the customer.
• Updating the contact centres computer system at every stage to ensure smooth communication between the company and the customer.
• Liaise positively and proactively at all times with customers in order to resolve any issues and exceed their expectations.
• After training you will be expected to handle all technical queries forwarded via the helpdesk.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience within electronic technical role
• Qualified to technician or engineer level in electronics
• Data handling experience
• Hardware and software installation
• Trouble shooting skills
• Network experience
• Applications support
• The possession of some experience of customer facing activities is ideal
