Marsden Building Society is looking to recruit an experienced full time Branch Manager our newly refurbished outlet in Nelson, Lancashire.

The candidate should as a minimum hold GCSE Maths and English Language (grade C or above).  CeRGI and CeMAP preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the operation of the branch and for the customer contact programmes into the local catchment area.
Previous retail experience is required, ideally in a retail management position.  You should be confident in dealing with customers and in your ability to lead the branch team.
The role demands a focus on branch business objectives, quality of service and administration in meeting the needs of the members.
The candidate will be expected to have good communication skills and the ability to deal with customers both orally and written.
The role will involve promoting the products and services to our customer base and a background in sales would be an advantage, together with cash handling skills.

Prior to employment the successful candidate will need to produce certificates confirming their qualifications and pass a credit check.
