Strategic Development Director (Ref: 31/15)
At Blackwood our vision is "helping people live their lives to the full" and we're passionate about it. In fact it's so important to us that we have newly created the position of Stractegic Development Director especially to drive forward our programme of development and innovation.
As part of the Executive Management Team based at our Head Office in Edinburgh, you will shape and deliver our strategic development programme in order to help us realise our ambitious growth plans. This will include delivering our Asset Management Strategy so that our homes are fit for the future, leading Blackwood's research and development programme to support the independence of our Housing and Care customers, and developing innovations in housing and care.
To be successful in this role you will be a visionary leader who can inspire both people within Blackwood and our external partners. You will have extensive experience in a strategic role, ideally within housing or asset management, engaging customers and your team in order to deliver significant development projects.
Your are likely to be educated to degree level and have membership of a professional body, such as the Chartered Institute of Housing or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
