Quality Assurance Specialist

Search Energy is working with Our Client to Source a Quality Assurance Manager to be based from their offices in Coatbridge.

In this job you will be looking at Our Client's business whilst improving their existing procedures and systems. You will also be assisting with driving their business forward to new standard AS9100

Ideally our client seeks someone who can take Our Clients projects and create a seamless, simple QA system that meets with their industry expectations.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* QA procedures, progress and issues as the principal QA and ISO authority for the company
* Promoting quality achievement and performance across the organisation.
* The implementation, and further development of, the company's ISO9001, quality procedures to ensure all processes and products are tested and the results documented to a high standard.
* The supervision of the internal and external audit programme.
* The co-ordination and management of a cross site team of QC Engineers ensuring compliance with national and international standards, environmental and health and safety standards.
* Ensuring continuance of high quality goods and projects to meet exacting customer needs.
* Evaluating product specifications and customer requirements.
* Supervising the programme of continual improvement to products and services
* Collating and analysing performance data against defined parameters.
* Working closely with other managers and staff across design, production and engineering to deliver a consistent approach to QA within the group.
* Supervision of a programme of supplier audits.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to work in the UK without restriction, therefore candidates out with the EU that do not have a minimum Tier 1 Visa coupled with demonstrable UK experience need not apply.

In addition, you will have experience of working in and influencing a shop floor environment as you will have to influence the working environment/ procedures and how you wish for tasks to be carried out.

Our client works with a range of industries and it is for this reason that they will consider candidates from an automotive, military or high reliability sector. Candidates with an electronic background will be considered highly desirable.

Furthermore, should you have experience of AS9100 as well as experience of leading a small to medium company to attaining a higher QA standard, Our Client would consider you highly desirable as it is their intention of going from ISO9001 to AS9100 within the next 12-months.
