Salary: £28,016 - £33,515 plus £1,800 + Car Allowance + Benefits - Depending on Experience

As a result they are looking for a caring and committed individual with high integrity, professionalism and aspirations towards excellence to join their expert management team. Holding legal responsibility for one or more registered children’s homes, assessing planning and providing for the needs of the young people in care, you will ensure all staff are working to the agreed care plan.

Candidates for this role will have proven experience within Residential Care or a directly related field, with at least two years at management level. You must hold a professional social work qualification, DipSW CQSW or equivalent, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (England) (QCF) or the equivalent predecessor qualification in England / Wales. Candidates should also hold a knowledge of child development issues and the pathology of abused young people and a detailed understanding of the relevant legislation to the sector.

You must be at least 21 years of age and hold a full driving licence in order to be considered for this role. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check (previously CRB checks) – the cost of which will be met by our client.
