My client, a leading supplier of Software for external clients C#, ASP.NET MVC Developers to work as part of an exciting Development team that are leveraging the capabilities of the latest software technologies that facilitate business optimisation and growth.

Platforms from companies like Microsoft and Oracle (as well as a growing number of Open Source tools) are deployed by company in their customers' Business Support System architectures so that previously disjoint business practices and processes are automated and streamlined.

They believe that seamless end-to-end processes can only be achieved through integration of systems, the applications they host and the data they contain. Adopting a systematic integration strategy allows an organisation to radically rearrange its enterprise ICT, leading to higher levels of automation and greater levels of flexibility.

Responsibilities:

Develop and test software solutions, most likely as part of a team
Work from requirements/high level designs using Test Driven Design and Behaviour Driven Design practices
Contribute positively and significantly to the project team: support, learn from and share ideas and information with the team
Take full responsibility for quality of work performed and promote quality software engineering techniques and approaches with the project team
Complete tasks and make deliveries in accordance with requirements and time, cost and quality targets with an awareness of both customer requirements and impact on the company and customer commercials
Demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, and customers
Show initiative and make time available to ensure general technical competencies and specialisations are kept up-to-date in line with industry developments
Seek improvements to current processes and procedures and communicate to the 'process owner' your proposed improvements

Skills Required:

Experience of C#.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server and related technologies.
Experience in implementing best practice software solutions.
Experience of delivering across several software projects, ideally across the full project life cycle eg from requirements gathering through to customer delivery.
Understanding of both structured and Agile design and delivery approaches
