PHP Web Applications Developer
PHP Web Applications Developer : Based Sheffield. This successful and expanding Digital Agency is seeking to appoint an additional Developer to participate in the development of their front/back end Web systems including an in house Content Management System.
WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER SKILLS
-Experience in object orientated programming : PHP
-MySQL, Apache web server, Linux
-Passionate about software development, forward thinking and aspires to use the latest technology.
-Of advantage would be experience of using Zend framework, version control systems, XML, JSON, AJAX, Javascript, CSS, APIs
-Good communication skills, pro:active approach, willingness to impart ideas and "make a difference" etc.
-Any experience in an advertising environment or digital agency advantageous.
-Demonstrable portfolio of work where you have worked on the back end.
NB. Consideration will be given to enthusiastic junior candidates with extensive web development knowledge looking for a commercial opportunity.
THE ROLE
Working independently or as part of a team the PHP Web Applications Developer will be involved in developing, updating, testing and supporting web based marketing systems.
The Web Applications Developer will work on new projects and support and enhance existing systems. Additional duties inc support of databases, identification/fix of bugs and keeping software specs up to date.
