The Client
This producer of batteries, chargers and accessories for markets requiring high reliability and robust product design is situated in the stunning Highlands of Scotland. With the opportunity to live in one of the most desirable locations in the UK, this position will also ensure that you are playing a key role in the development of safety critical technology to the global defence industry.

The Role
Playing a key role within the multi-disciplinary Engineering team, this role includes schematic design, component selection, gerber and mechanical layout awareness, software development, test and debug. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

•    The design of electronic circuits (analogue and digital) for battery management and charging
•    Perform design and analysis to support battery projects including the creation and documentation of design concepts and development plans.
•    Documentation of test plans and detailed procedures.
•    Support technical reviews 
•    Provide technical support to manufacture and test activities

 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant subject (Electronic Engineering) with experience in the development of analogue power electronics. Additionally, he/she will be experienced in the specification of testing to validate designs, have good board test and debug skills, a good understanding of digital electronics and experience of EMC/RFI design and testing.
