Software Developer - C# / .Net

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

SALARY: Negotiable depending on experience, private healthcare, pension.

LOCATION: Based in Farnborough, Hampshire you must be live within daily commuting distance, or be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Working within an international team framework, in your role as Software Developer you will be working as part of an integrated team of Developers, Product Managers and Software Testers, in an Agile environment, carrying out a wide variety of programming assignments.

Your day-to-day role will involve:

* Designing / coding application logic requiring a high degree of complexity.

* Conducting code reviews.

* Working with QA to investigate and solve specific application issues.

* Assisting team members with trouble shooting and complex problems solving.

* Writing and maintaining programming documentation.

* Occasionally travelling to other office within the organisation.

An important requirement of the job is to attain a detailed knowledge of the codes of practice pertaining to the products and procedures which the company’s customers currently follow, and utilise this knowledge in day to day operations.

You will have 3 to 5+ years experience as a Software Developer, coding and developing desktop applications.

You key qualities / experience should include:

* Strong experience in C# / .NET

* Strong experience in MS SQL Server and relational database design

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and /or 2012

* Ability to investigate and analyse information and to draw conclusions

* Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications

* Ability to quickly understand large-scale existing systems and work effectively within them

You will be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented and a responsible team-player, with good communication skills, and ideally have experience working within an Agile-based project environment.
