We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing to be based from our head offices in Chiswick.   Our offices are accessible from Gunnersbury tube station on the District Line and Overground or via a short walk from Kew Bridge mainline station. This opportunity will be a fixed term contract of six months with possible scope for extension to cover maternity leave.  Reporting into the VP of Marketing and working closely with the senior commercial team (Head of Ecommerce and Customer Data, Head of Film Buying, Head of operations, Head of Retail and Head of Commercial) our Head of Marketing will ensure the effective delivery of Cineworld’s marketing communications strategy delivering against the business KPIs. 

Responsibilities of our Head of Marketing

- Ownership of the Marketing Communications strategy and delivery of the plan to support cinema admissions, Cineworld’s market share and other Business KPIs.

- Management of integrated through the line campaigns to support key business focus areas of driving growth in customer frequency, recency and spend per person e.g. our Unlimited card, IMAX, 4DX, Dbox, Superscreen across multiple channels including TV, VOD, OOH, press, radio & digital

- Supporting the growth of our cinema footprint in the UK managing campaigns to launch multiple cinemas this year and sustain their growth beyond opening

- Supporting the launch and growth of our key propositions including IMAX, 4DX, 3D, Dbox ensuring customers are aware of the benefit

- Manage the overall social media strategy and delivery of existing and new social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram

- Manage, protect and promote the Cineworld and Cineworld plc. brand across all channels including PR and social

- Acting as a Media owner and managing the sales of our portfolio of channels (e.g. website, in cinema) with our key partners

- Lead, motivate, coach and support your team to deliver an effective team and continually meet Business needs

- Effectively manage suppliers to maintain a strong partnership approach acting as an extension of the team

- Manage budgets, forecasting and any sales income for the Marketing team

- Work closely with Commercial, Film, Retail, Operations and Ecommerce to ensure a joined-up approach to Cineworld projects and ensuring effective delivery of communications into all channels.

- Ensure close working relationships with Distributors and other key stakeholders are maintained to further enhance Cineworld reputation and drive increased admissions

- Sharing best practice across the International group with our colleagues in the wider Cineworld group

Our Head of Marketing will be a collaborative and confident leader who can inspire a team to deliver against tight timescales in a multi stakeholder environment.  With a specialist Marketing qualification and extensive Marketing experience at senior level our Head of Marketing will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role gained ideally from a multi-site Leisure, Hospitality or Retail brand.  The successful candidate will have extensive experience and understanding of brand principles and the media mix to include digital and social media.  Our Head of Marketing will be well versed in delivering marketing plans and will strive to achieve inspiring results.  With a proven track record within PR & Reputation management our Head of Marketing will be commercially focused, possess strong budget management skills and have significant experience in delivering a customer-focused approach to decisions.  Planning and organisational skills are essential to succeed within this role as is a strong stakeholder and 3rd party supplier management background.
