A leading financial business is seeking an experience Communications Manager, covering customer and corporate communications, to join their team on a contract basis (for at least 6 months) in Glasgow City Centre.

As Communications Manager you'll be tasked with delivering a communications and response management plan, prioritising the customer experience at all points.

Your core responsibilities will include (though will not be limited to):

  • Developing and delivering customer and internal communications plans (including budgets, timelines and activity deliverables)
  • Proof reading materials and checking data for accuracy and completeness
  • Managing the timely delivery of content from other areas of the business, ensuring that client communications are implemented in line with agreed positioning and messaging
  • Identifying, logging and managing delivery risks and issues, escalating where necessary
  • Responding to business enquiries concerning all communications plans
  • Liaising with internal business partners and external stakeholders, commenting on the progress of agreed deliverables
  • Facilitating the creation and executive of client mailings
  • Managing data requirements, producing collateral, print production and fulfilment in accordance with in-house style and branding
  • Facilitating the creation and execution of digital content working with key stakeholders and digital teams as required
  • Facilitating the creation and execution of internal communications through a broad range of channels for impacting colleagues throughout the group
  • Producing and editing suitable material for stakeholder engagement

This is a fantastic contract role, and the ideal candidate should have a sound working knowledge of client communications, internal communications and strategic project-based communications.

Knowledge of business change programs would be advantageous, as would skills in influencing and challenging stakeholders.

You MUST have financial services communications experience to be considered for this role. In addition, you should:

  • Have a degree in Communications or Marketing
