Software Developer

Our clients are a world leader within their technology sector. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Software Developer to join their exciting team.

The successful candidate will be specifying, developing, providing and maintaining software to operate between User Interfaces and Ethernet communications.

Main Duties:

- Maintain and enhance existing top level software
- Work with Engineering, Marketing and Sales to specify software requirements/enhancements
- Develop code and test to ensure quality
- Develop companywide coding standards and approaches
- Liaise with Software /Firmware developers and the Sales and Marketing team

Skills/Experience:

- Strong experience of C#, .Net and presentation of GUI's
- Familiar with best practice approaches such as Agile/SCRUM/XP
- Familiar with source control systems such as GIT and ways of maintaining code evolution
- Practical experience of running projects and planning development timescales
- Process documentation skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills and works well within a team

Desirable (but not Essential):

- Ethernet communications experience
- Practical experience of implementing new practice approaches (Agile etc)
- Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
