Information Security Incident Analyst

I am currently looking for an Information Security Incident Analyst to join my clients growing Information Security department. You will operate Incident Response activities directly related to security incidents.

You will support the activities of the Information Security department and the wider company, and will respond to a wide variety of incidents relating to both malicious activity and inadvertent actions.

In order to be considered for the role, I am looking for candidates that have:

Practical experience of Security Incident Management or experience in IT Incident Management.
Detailed understanding of the attack vectors, methods and actors in relation to cyber security and experience in developing and testing cyber scenarios;
Proven capability and experience of executing Red-team exercises information security (including cyber security) incidents with an ability to make sound decisions and judgements under stress;
Understanding of the related technical controls which prevent Financial Crime;
Good analytical and problem solving skills;
An understanding of the Financial Services regulated environment within the UK and the requirements of Information Security within it;
Good understanding of Financial Services concepts and sound business acumen and judgment; ability to see and communicate information security challenges in business terms; ability to understand and deliver business value;
Highly effective interpersonal skills, relationship skills, and written/verbal communications skills; ability to motivate and influence others/negotiate and build consensus
