A major business based in Newcastle are recruiting for a talented .NET Developer to join the development team to play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing new IT solutions in addition to making enhancements to current applications.

Essential skills:

• Solid commercial experience of .NET Development Technologies (ASP.NET, C#.Net)
• SQL Server
• Web Scripting - JavaScript, ASP
• Visual Studio 2010 and beyond

Role:

The role is very varied and will include some of the following:

• Work with stakeholders, business analysts and other IT colleagues to design and build software applications
• Support and maintain the current application estate
• Support testing team through documentation and designs
• Work independently and as part of project team

The ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an in depth working knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, with experience of C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. You will be a professional, motivated individual with a strong sense of pride taken in your work. You will need to have very good verbal and communication skills and be able to articulate solutions, with a can-do attitude. Demonstrate excellent customer service, analytical and problem solving skills. You will be interested in technology and keep up to date with new and emerging techniques and tools.

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 (dependant on experience)
