Senior Manager - Security Operations

Head Resourcing's Glasgow based Financial Services client is looking to recruit a Senior Manager within Security Operations who will have the responsibility for leading and managing teams which provide effective Information Security operational activities across various areas. The ideal candidate is likely to be a seasoned career Information Security professional who is able to lead and govern across all of the information security domains.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

*Extensive relationship management with Senior IT Leaders, Programme Directors, Release Managers, relevant Technical & Business Community to ensure all Engineering Room managed systems are fully supported and aligned with technical and business direction for the organisation.
*Building effective relationships with 3rd Party partners and external vendors in the delivery of services in support of business needs and direction.
*Building and maintaining effective relationships with CERT and Incident response teams
*Ensuring the information security Engineering Room processes are robust, regularly tested and continually improved and strategically moving towards a SOC function (this includes Vulnerability Management, Certificate Management Compliance Monitoring, Penetration Testing, etc).
*Ensuring all departmental processes and systems align to relevant indury standards (eg ISO27*).
*Impact of this role is significant across major business segments and recommendations will ensure the business understand the associated information security risks of any decisions taken.
* Leading and motivating reporting team members including role modelling, coaching/mentoring, performance management, identification of training/development needs etc.

Your CV must demonstrate the following:

*Proven capability and experience of leading teams with an operational focus, preferably within Information Security environment.
*Exposure and usage of information security related policy, standards and methodologies.
*Demonstrable knowledge of risk management policies, procedures and tools and exposure to application and business architecture, technical architecture, and technical design.
*Ability to collaborate with Business and Technology colleagues in planning, risk management and problem-solving.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship skills, and written/verbal communications skills; ability to motivate and influence others/negotiate and build consensus.
*Ability to articulate operational risks in Business terminology
*Educated to degree standard with current CISM qualifications or related experience across the majority of the Information Security Domains (as per ISO27*).
