Project Surveyor (QS)

We are looking for a Project Surveyor (QS) for our leading client in the Design and Build sector. This is a permanent role based in Leeds with a salary of £35,000 and car allowance.

Role and Responsibilities

Work closely with Regional Contract Managers, Project Managers and Construction teams on projects

Responsible for financial, commercial and contractual management of complete life cycle of projects

Manage factory manufacturing orders, costs, tenders, subcontract procurement and contract award

Prepare monthly sub-contract project accounts, and Forecast Final Accounts

Prepare claims for variations to contracts

Attend monthly client site progress meetings

Support any dispute resolution claims

Develop the supply chain

The successful candidate for the Project Surveyor (QS) role will:

Be degree qualified and MRICS

Have working knowledge of NEC3 and JCT D&B contracts and procedures

Have the ability to maintain client and supply chain relationships professionally

Previously have managed multiple live projects

This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Surveyor (QS) with a demonstrable record working for a Design and Build Contractor on projects up to £5M to join a large UK Company and progress their career. You will need to be a clear and effective communicator at all levels, computer literate and able to keep accurate records.
