Data Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with an ability to pull data from multiple sources has arisen to work for the UK's leading Engineering Support Services organisation as part of their Defence and Security Business Unit. The successful individual will be required to obtain SC Clearance on acceptance of the position.

As a Data Analyst you will be working in the businesses DSG Hub where you will be responsible for data collection, validation, analysis and dashboard reporting, to deliver the contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Supporting the data management function including: data collection; data validation; data processing; data analysis; Datamodelling; and reporting. The Data Analyst will help the business make sense of multiple data sources and deliver a high quality Business Intelligence (BI) and decision support capability to the internal business and external customer, in/line with company standards and contractual requirements.

The successful Data Analyst will be eligible for security clearance and have experience with multiple data sources, Business Intelligence (BI) applications and dashboard reporting (preferably QlikView), experience with creating and managing databases (Microsoft SQL and Oracle), experience in data analysis and reporting, and calculating and reporting KPI, PI and balanced scorecards. The ideal Data Analyst will have knowledge of Army Equipment and MOD systems, and experience of designing and implementing hardware, software and system solutions.
