Senior Privacy Officer

A Senior Data Privacy Officer is required to join the worlds leading provider of technology and information solutions, as well as integrated tax compliance software and services to accounting, tax and corporate finance professionals. This is a critical role for the client as privacy poses the biggest legal risk to such a huge data company.

The role

This is a very senior position that will see the Chief Privacy Officer focusing on global data privacy laws for the business which will cover 101 countries. You will be responsible for completing privacy impact assessments, training and predominantly developing a team strategy. The upcoming changes to EU data privacy laws will make this an incredibly exciting time to join the business in this position. You will be covering all aspects of privacy laws in this position protection of customer data and public records and ensuring journalists conform to the privacy laws.

The candidate

The successful candidate will have 10+ years experience of dealing with privacy compliance issues across a variety of industry sectors, ideally in a financial services or media services environment. Any CIPP certifications are highly desirable, and most specifically CIPP EU. Knowledge of UK and European Data Privacy legal requirements is essential ideally supported by a legal background.

The package
