Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a Security Analyst has arisen to work for a multinational telecommunications organisation that provides telephony, broadband, and television subscription services in over 170 countries. This is a permanent position that will initially be based in the UK for a period of 4/7 months, followed by an international assignment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for a minimum 9 month period, working in their Security Operations Centre (SOC).

As a Security Analyst you will initially work as part of a team developing operations and strategy for the development of a national level Security Operations Centre (SOC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Your day/to/day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following;

*To lead a team of analysts who provide operational support across all aspects of the cyber security solution delivered to our client

*To coach and guide analysts working within the same team on an on/going basis

*To assist in the build and development of and make certain of adherence to all processes associated with the service management of the customer solution (training will be provided)

*To work flexibly as part of a wider team delivering against the contractual commitments agreed with the client

*To drive a culture of continual service improvement and process improvement as a standard way of working/this includes highlighting process and system improvements on an on/going basis

*To train others in order to actively manage the solution

*To do the above as part of an International Assignment in the KSA for a minimum of 9 months

*To work as part of the following shift patter which includes large aspects of anti/social working hours

The successful Security Analyst will have a good technical understanding of Cyber Security technologies and have experience of working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC). You will also have excellent time management skills, be a collaborative team player, and have strong attention to detail. Due to the nature of this role, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with others for extended periods of time.

This role is part of our clients Security business unit which is at the heart of their Global Services strategy, with a comprehensive portfolio and offering, and incredible technical ability across its teams. This role relates to a pioneering deal which will be exclusively delivered by our clients Security business unit to a national client in the Middle East and will deliver state/of/the/art cyber security technology along with a trained and fully manned operational environment for that client. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain international experience and be part of a project that will deliver engineering excellence in a national level SOC in KSA.

The business offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package including a 6 week period of leave and a GBP 50,000 tax free bonus upon the completion of the International Assignment in KSA. Furthermore, your travel and accommodation outside of your city of residence in the UK is covered, along with travel, accommodation and food all covered by the business in KSA. Furthermore, this role will involve using state of the art Cyber Security technologies in a business with a can/do attitude that will supply you with all the equipment and flexibility required.
