iOS Developer
itContracting on behalf of our client in Milton Keynes/United Kingdom are seeking applications for an iOS Developer.
Our Client is fast growing aviation software company developing wireless on-board in-flight entertainment & E-commerce systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Work with outside data sources and API's
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Demonstrable iOS development experience via at least one published app
- Experience with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience with source control, eg GIT
Advantageous:
- Knowledge of agile development methodology
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms
- Experience with Swift
- Experience with other mobile development platforms eg Android
